We began our journey many years ago when Kathi worked as a management consultant to small businesses. She’d give business advice to growing companies, but run up against psychological roadblocks on the people end. “I’d create a foolproof marketing plan, but if the marketing director couldn’t get his staff to implement it, the business stalled.”
Kathi saw that the workplace was full of emotions that were going unaddressed. “I became more interested in changing the interpersonal dynamics that held businesses back.” That’s when she enlisted the psychological expertise of Katherine who could identify the emotional obstacles and interpersonal problems that prevented progress. “We started to combine our skills – business strategy and psychological techniques – and K Squared was born.”
